Field Trip

Photos from our field trip to Pukekura Park

Make a Face

During class last week we learnt how to layer a face together using different sections of multiple faces.

I used an eagle beak, a gecko eye, a hawk eye, a sheep eye. a tiger eyes, eye lashes and 3 eyebrows. The eye lashes, sheep eye and tiger eye all have a lower opacity which makes them slightly faded.

After we learnt to layer our image together we added a color block layer. I chose to add 4 colour block layers. A blue layer with a hard mix blend mode set, a pink layer with a hue blend mode set, a purple layer with a hard mix set and lastly a black and pink gradient layer with a linear burn blend mode set.

Welcome To My Blog

My name is Paige Roberts. I come from a large blended family of mostly boys. I was born and raised in Auckland then moved to Taranaki in 2013. My family is now spread out around New Zealand with a sister in Christchurch, brothers in Auckland along with my mother and nephews in Whanganui.

We also had a family dog, Shey but he sadly passed away over Christmas 2015. He was 15 years old (105 in dog years).

I am currently studying at the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki. I gained my Certificate in Creative Graphics Level 3 and am now studying towards a Certificate in Photography Level 4.

I hope to continue my studies in photography and graphic design then enter into both businesses.
